Part of Paid Media Watching, not reading
A TikTok Ads agency in Ghana, for businesses ready to commission video.
We plan, build and run the campaigns, and report on them every month. Whether an ad account can be opened from Ghana, and whether the vertical video exists, are the two things we check before taking you on.
Talk to us about TikTok AdsWhen the ad has to earn the watch
On every other platform an ad is placed next to something a person came for. On TikTok, the ad is the thing they came for or it is nothing.
That is why a TikTok Ads agency in Ghana has to start two steps earlier than a proposal usually admits, whether an account can be opened here at all, and whether the video the feed demands exists. The ones who treat it as a cheaper billboard spend their way to both lessons.
-
There is no banner position to buy, no sidebar to occupy, no polite corner of somebody else's feed.
-
A thumb moves and the ad is gone.
-
Businesses arrive expecting to buy attention and discover they have to earn it, one piece of creative at a time.
What this work is part of
TikTok Ads is one of five services inside Paid Media & Growth Campaigns, the foundation of Marketing Parasite, a digital marketing and SEO agency serving Ghana. That foundation exists to produce qualified audiences and measurable demand.
This service covers the platform where the creative is the campaign rather than a component of it.

Whether a business registered in Ghana can open a TikTok ad account
Before anything else here matters, there is a question the other four platforms never raise.
TikTok's own help centre publishes the list of regions where an advertiser can create an ad account in Business Center without having to go through a TikTok representative. Updated November 2025, it runs to 59 entries and includes Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Egypt and Morocco. Ghana is not on it. The article is in the TikTok Ads Manager help centre, under available regions for ad account creation, and you can go and read it.
That does not mean the platform is shut to you. It means access is arranged rather than assumed. It comes through a representative, or through a partner already holding an account, and it is a step with a timeline attached rather than a form you fill in on a Tuesday.
It also puts one shortcut off the table. We will not open an account behind a VPN or on a borrowed foreign registration. An account opened on a false location is an account you can lose, with whatever is sitting in it.
So we check the list on the day you ask, and if access cannot be arranged honestly we say so and point you at the platform where your budget can start today.
What makes this platform its own discipline
Three things are true here and false of every other platform in this programme.
-
Native vertical video is the only viable creative unit
Not adapted video, not a landscape cut, not a static image with movement added. The format that works is the format the platform was built around, and anything else reads as an intruder and is scrolled past accordingly.
-
The feed is bought on creative rather than on targeting
Elsewhere you win by finding the right audience and showing them a reasonable ad. Here the discovery feed decides who sees what based on how the creative performs, which means a mediocre ad shown to a perfect audience simply stops being shown. The lever is the work itself.
-
Fit depends on who your customers actually are
This platform reaches a younger audience than its siblings, and no amount of budget changes who is on the other end of it. That makes fit a question we answer before the work starts rather than a variable we optimise afterwards.
How a TikTok campaign is built and judged
The account comes first, and the opening weeks are a testing period rather than a launch.
The account, not the ads
Access first, because in Ghana that is a real step rather than a form. Setup where nothing exists, an audit where something does.
The structure the money moves through
Campaigns and audiences organised so spending can be traced to a result, and conversion tracking and attribution in place before the first view rather than reconstructed afterwards.
The creative goes out and the platform starts voting
Because this feed buys on creative, the opening weeks are a testing period rather than a launch, and your written scope says how many variations that assumes so nobody is surprised by the pace.
A written report, every month
Judged against that scope and against the baseline documented at the start, and it says what did not work as plainly as what did.
Want to know if TikTok is even open to you yet?
Before any proposal, we check whether an ad account can be opened from Ghana for your business, and whether the video exists. The call is where that check starts.

What is in scope
The foundation's scope, in its own words. Read the sixth line carefully, because the section after next is about what it does not say.
In scope
- Account access route and setup, or an audit of the account you have
- Campaign and audience structure
- Keyword and placement strategy
- Conversion tracking and attribution setup
- Ad copywriting
- Basic static creative
- Ongoing optimisation
- The reporting standard
What is out of scope
The second line below is the one that matters most here, and the section after it is there rather than left for a proposal to reveal.
The one thing this service needs that the foundation does not include
The video itself is not in the fee, and the foundation's own scope says so in two separate lines. In scope, the foundation includes basic static creative. Out of scope, quoted separately, sits video production and premium creative.
Put side by side, those two lines say something specific about this service. TikTok Ads is the only one of the five that cannot be delivered inside the scope line of its own foundation. Every sibling can run on the static creative the foundation includes. This one cannot run on it at all.
So the video is bought alongside the campaign work, as the scope itself says, as an Accelerator or as a project with a fixed scope. That is a real second cost and it is stated here, before you have spoken to anyone. An agency that offers you this platform without mentioning it is either not reading its own scope or hoping you will not read yours.
If you would rather see how that second cost is put together before you enquire, it is scoped and priced as its own service, with its own boundaries.
Who this is not for
If your customers are not on this platform, we will say so and decline the work.
That is not a qualification hurdle dressed up as candour. The fit condition here is about who your buyers are, not about how much you can spend, and a business whose customers skew older will get reach on this platform and nothing that follows from it. We decline work we cannot grow. This is the platform where that answer comes up honestly rather than reluctantly, and hearing it costs you one conversation instead of a quarter.
What TikTok looks like in Ghana, when the audience has never been published
Every other platform in this programme can be sized before you spend. This one cannot, and any agency that hands you a TikTok user count for Ghana has made it up.
DataReportal's *Digital 2026 Ghana* report counts the country's platform audiences one by one. YouTube at 8.59 million, Facebook at 8.40 million, LinkedIn at 3.40 million, Instagram at 2.30 million, X at 1.17 million, Reddit at 248,000. It omits TikTok from that table entirely. There is no published figure, and that is the answer.
The second measurement misses it too. Of the social referral sources StatCounter Global Stats records sending traffic into Ghanaian sites in August 2026, Facebook leads on 64.83%, followed by YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, X and LinkedIn. TikTok is not among them. It is a place where attention is spent, not one that hands visitors to your website.
Hold that against the same report's wider picture. 26.3 million Ghanaians online, 74.6% of the population, against 8.59 million social media user identities, 24.4%. The position is plain. Social is already the smaller room, and inside it this is the room nobody has counted. So the platform is bought on a judgement about your own buyers, made out loud.
What stays in your own account
The ad account is opened in your name, whoever arranges the access, and it stays yours. So does the pixel, the tracking code that sits on your website and tells the platform what happened after the click, and so do the video files and the raw footage of anything you commission.
Our fee buys strategy, execution and accountability. Anything paid to a third party is yours, held in your own account, never billed through us and never marked up. If we ever part company, nothing has to be handed back to you, because none of it was ever held by us.
- Your advertising spend
- Your TikTok ad account and pixel
- Your video files and raw footage
- Your tool subscriptions and licences
What we put in writing
We are new, and no view counts, no campaign screenshots and no numbers from past work appear here, because no engagement has been documented with consent yet.
There is a second reason for restraint on this platform. Nobody can promise a video will be watched, so what is written down here is what we will do, what we refuse to do, and what the report will say when it did not work.
Who does the work
Two parties do this work, and the line between them is published here rather than discovered in a handover. The founder judges whether your buyers are here, settles how the account is opened, sets the campaign structure and reads what each piece of creative actually did. The delivery network runs the daily ad operations, the tracking setup and the monthly report under his quality control. Video, when you commission it, is a separate scope with its own people named inside it.
The proof behind this work is founder proof, not a showreel. Three years of practical digital work, a Google Analytics certification through Google Skillshop for reading what a video campaign sent to the site, and sector experience across airport concierge, immigration services, vehicle licensing, online retail and food distribution, stated by sector and never by name. No TikTok campaign has been documented with consent yet, and we say so rather than implying one.

Questions Ghanaian businesses ask about TikTok Ads
The ones that come up before anybody signs anything, starting with the one nobody expects.
Can I even open a TikTok ad account from a Ghanaian business?
Not the way you would open one in Nigeria or Kenya. TikTok's own help centre publishes the list of regions that can create an ad account in Business Center without going through a TikTok representative, and Ghana is not on it. We check the current list and the honest access route before we take you on.
Do you make the video?
Not inside this fee. The foundation includes basic static creative and names video production separately as out of scope, so the video is bought as an Accelerator, or as a project with a fixed scope, alongside the campaign work.
Can we just use the video we already made for Instagram or television?
Usually not, and this is the most expensive assumption on the platform. A landscape cut or a polished brand film reads as an intruder in a feed built around native vertical video, and the feed answers by not showing it.
Who pays TikTok?
You do, directly, from an account in your own name. We never hold your budget, never buy it on your behalf and never mark it up.
How many videos will this take before it works?
Nobody can tell you honestly before the testing starts, which is why the written scope names how many variations the fee assumes. What we will not do is promise a number of views or a result on a date.
How do I know whether my customers are even here?
That is the first question the audit answers, and it is a judgement rather than a lookup, because no Ghana audience figure for this platform has ever been published. If the answer is no, we say so and decline the work.
What does TikTok advertising cost?
Nothing is priced before the audit, and on this platform there are two costs to plan for rather than one. The audit names the campaign work and the creative work separately, because they are scoped separately.
What a TikTok Ads agency in Ghana costs
Nothing is priced before the audit.
On this platform the audit has two extra questions to answer, what the account access route costs in time, and whether the video the campaigns need is worth commissioning for what it would return.
What moves the number is the number of creative variations the testing period assumes, whether any usable vertical video exists already or all of it has to be made, how many products or audiences are being run at once, and whether tracking exists on your website or has to be built. The audit produces a written itemised scope and the fee that matches it, together, with the creative work named separately because it is scoped separately. If the whole of it cannot justify itself, we say so and decline. Our pricing explains what drives cost and quotes nothing.
Start with a call
Tell us who buys from you, roughly how old they are, and whether you have any vertical video already. Those answers decide most of whether this platform is worth your money, and you will hear our view of it on the call, including whether an account can be opened for you at all. Nothing is priced or signed at that stage.
Every enquiry gets a reply within one working day.
