Careers in Ghana, and the delivery bench that is open today.
No salaried role is open, and we have not invented one to fill a vacancy list. What is open is the delivery bench, subcontract work for SEO, ads, design and copy specialists, scoped against a real engagement and ending in a paid test task.

There is no vacancy list here, and writing one would have been the easiest thing on this site to fake.
An empty careers list looks like a business going nowhere, and the fix is cheap and dishonest. Name a role, collect the applications, decide later whether it was ever real. You would not know. We would.
So we publish the process instead of a promise. When a role opens it appears here, and none of how it works will be a surprise, because all of it is written down now, while nothing is at stake.
We are not naming a date, because we do not have one.
What we hire for
Nine disciplines, and not all of them open at once. The work is remote across Ghana.
Whether a role is junior or senior is decided by what that work needs. We hire at more than one level, so the honest answer to whether you are experienced enough is that the test task settles it rather than your years.

Employment, and the bench that is not employment
Two different things run through this and they are worth separating before you read further.
The delivery bench is not employment. Marketing Parasite is a digital marketing and SEO agency working in Ghana, founder-led, with a vetted subcontractor bench engaged per project scope. That bench is how specialist work reaches people here right now.
Kwasi Wiafe Kwapong leads every engagement personally and holds the final quality pass on what leaves here, so the person reviewing your work is the person you would be working with.
If you arrived from the link that said join the delivery bench, this is the part it meant.

Employment
Salaried employment
Salaried, and none of it is open today. Which discipline opens first follows the work in front of us rather than a plan we have already made.

Delivery bench
The delivery bench
Subcontract, and live right now. Bench work is scoped against a real engagement, which means it is not a queue and it is not a promise of volume.
Who the delivery bench is for, and who it is not for yet
The bench is for a specialist who already does this work for somebody, and wants more of it without spending every evening chasing it. You run search, ads, design or copy at a standard you could defend line by line. You can take a written scope and return finished work against it. You are one person or a small studio, not a department that needs managing.
It is not for you yet if you are learning the discipline and want somewhere to learn it. The bench is not a training scheme, and a client's live account is the wrong room to find out whether the work suits you. It is also not for you if you need guaranteed hours. Bench work appears when an engagement needs it, which means there is no roster position to hold and no monthly minimum to count on. What an engagement looks like from the client's side is set out in how we work, and it is worth reading before you decide.
And if what you want is to send work to us rather than take work from us, this is the wrong door. How a partnership with another firm works is written up separately, on its own terms.
What we will not do to you
We do not take on work we cannot staff, and that rule protects you as much as it protects a buyer.
A role opens here against work that exists, not against a forecast. We will not open one to collect people we might need later, and we will not keep you attached to a maybe. When the book is full we say so and schedule.
Nothing you send is used as free labour. The test task is paid, and no unpaid sample is requested at any stage.
How to put yourself forward
We ask for a short piece of real work because nothing else shows us what working with you is actually like.
- 1 One email [email protected], subject line Delivery bench.
- 2 A cover letter Not started Why this, and why now.
- 3 Links to work Not started Work you have already done tells us more than any description of it could.
- 4 A paid test task Not started If those two hold up, we send you a small piece of real work. The test task is paid.
We pay for it because it is work. We will not ask you for unpaid test work, and we will not call it exposure.
Four things, one email, and the subject line matters because it is what routes your application away from the sales inbox — [email protected], subject Delivery bench.
What we look for
You can be handed a piece of work and run it without being checked on.
At six months that looks specific. You hold your own task list, you finish what is on it, and the quality does not move depending on whether anyone is watching. That is the whole standard, and everything else we could list is a consequence of it.
Three things do not last here.
-
An interest in marketing that stops at payday
-
Work that comes back needing redoing, from someone content to leave it that way
-
Going quiet in the middle of a delivery
It ends things fastest, because work is handed over on trust and silence is the one failure nobody can plan around.
What we can offer you
We can offer speed, and a short distance to a decision. There is nobody here to ask for permission. If something should change on Monday, it changes on Monday. The brief reaches you from the person who agreed it with the client rather than through an account layer, and the review comes back from the same person. You will be expected to keep learning, because the work keeps moving and none of us finished learning it.
What we cannot
We cannot offer a large salary or an impressive office. We are new. Those are the two things we will lose on, and you should know it now rather than discover it once you are already here.
Questions people ask before they apply
The ones that come up before anyone spends an evening on a cover letter.
Is the delivery bench remote, or do I need to be in Accra?
Remote, across Ghana. Work is briefed, handed over and reviewed online, and there is no office to report to. Where you sit matters less than whether the work comes back finished.
Do you take juniors, or only senior specialists?
Both. The level is decided by what the work needs rather than by a policy, so the honest answer to whether you are experienced enough is that the paid test task settles it and your years do not.
How is bench work paid?
It is subcontract work, and the fee is agreed against the scope of the piece before you begin it. There is no rate card here, because no two scopes are the same size. The test task is paid as well.
There is no form here. How do I actually apply?
One email to [email protected] with the subject line Delivery bench. That is deliberate rather than unfinished. The only form on this site writes to a sales database, which is the wrong place for an application to land.
What if the work I am proudest of is under a client NDA?
Send what you are free to show and say plainly what you cannot. This is part of why the test task exists, because it gives us something to judge that belongs to nobody else.
What does "scoped against a real engagement" actually mean?
It means bench work appears when a client's engagement needs it, rather than being handed out from a roster built in advance. There is no queue position, and there is no monthly minimum.
What happens after you apply
If you have not heard from us within 30 days, your application was not successful that time.
We would rather say that plainly than leave you watching an inbox. That is 30 calendar days from the day you apply. It is a different clock from the one working day we promise anyone contacting us about hiring us to do work, and the two are not the same commitment.
Applying again later is fine. What we need changes, and a no now is about the fit today rather than a verdict on you.
We work Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 16:00 GMT, weekends closed. When you are ready, the whole application is one email to [email protected] with the subject line Delivery bench.
We attach. You grow.
