Online advertising in Ghana with five ad platforms run as one discipline.
Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and Reddit ads, planned, bought and reported together. You pay each platform directly, from your own account, and the spend is never marked up.
Talk to us about paid advertisingWhen you need demand sooner than authority can build it
Three situations bring people to this foundation, and they have one thing in common.
Whatever the shape, the arithmetic is the same. The demand is needed by a date, and the slower ways of earning it will not arrive by then. Waiting is a cost too. It just never appears on an invoice. Online advertising in Ghana closes that gap on the date, not eventually.
-
The business is new, and nobody searches for its name yet.
The product is ready and the pipeline is not.
-
The season is short.
The sales it misses now are gone rather than postponed.
-
A specific kind of buyer needs reaching.
No amount of patience will surface them organically.
What online advertising in Ghana buys
Paid media buys time. That is the honest name for the product. Qualified audiences and measurable demand, arriving faster than authority can be built, because the platforms already hold your buyers and rent access by the day.
Bought time is not a lesser purchase. It is the only purchase that arrives on a schedule you set, and when a date matters more than a compounding curve, it is the correct one. What makes it correct is buying it deliberately, for a stated reason, against a number you agreed to move, with a plan for what takes over when the campaigns stop.
What it stops buying
The same sentence read backwards is the other half of the truth. What is bought by the day stops by the day. Pause the spending and the demand stops arriving. Authority keeps working after the invoice. A campaign does not.
Unlike generalist agencies that offer activity in silos, we run this foundation with both halves of that argument stated, as one of all three foundations rather than as the whole plan.
The country these campaigns actually run in
Ghana is three quarters online and under a quarter on social media. DataReportal's Digital 2026 Ghana report counts 26.3 million internet users, 74.6% of the population, against 8.59 million social media user identities, 24.4%. Every platform in this foundation except search rents access to the smaller of those two numbers, and a budget should be told that before it is set.
Inside that smaller room the traffic is lopsided. StatCounter Global Stats puts Facebook at 64.83% of all social referral traffic into Ghanaian sites in August 2026, ahead of YouTube at 14.45% and Instagram at 9.26%. The phones are not what most briefs assume either. Android 66.52% and iOS 33.44% on the same measurement. An ad or a destination that only behaves on one of those is losing a third of the country or two thirds of it before the money is judged.
The third fact decides what an ad should ask for. The Bank of Ghana's 2025 Payment Systems Oversight Annual Report records GH¢4.54 trillion moved by mobile money during 2025, up 50.8% on the year, while Statista and ecDB put online retail at 0 to 5% of total retail. The money moves electronically; the buying still mostly finishes in a conversation. So a campaign here is normally bought to produce an enquiry, a message or a visit, and is measured on those rather than on a checkout most Ghanaian businesses do not have.
Where the campaigns run
On whichever platform holds the people you need, which is a diagnosis rather than a preference. Five services make up the foundation, and each one reaches a different kind of audience.
-
Already searching
Google Ads
Search advertising on Google. It is the one place a buyer states their need in their own words.
-
On two platforms
Meta Ads
Advertising across Facebook and Instagram. Why that is one service and not two gets its own section below.
-
Watching, not reading
TikTok Ads
Short-form video advertising, reaching an audience through video that is watched rather than read.
-
Found at work
LinkedIn Ads
Reaching professional audiences on LinkedIn, where people are found by what they do for a living.
-
Around an interest
Reddit Ads
Advertising inside Reddit communities, reaching people inside the communities built on the thing they care about.
None of them is a menu item. Who needs reaching decides where the campaigns run, and a scope often names fewer platforms than a buyer expects. That is why paid media is offered as one discipline rather than platform by platform. The strategy, the tracking and the reporting are one system, and the platform mix can change when the results say it should.
Who should buy paid media, and who should not yet
Buy it when the date is the constraint. You have something to promote now, somewhere for a click to land that can take an enquiry, and a reason the demand is needed by a particular month. A season, a launch, a new branch, a pipeline that has to be full before a hire. This is the only thing we offer that arrives on a schedule you set.
Do not buy it yet if the click has nowhere to land. If there is no website, or whatever an ad would point at cannot take an enquiry on a phone, the campaign will spend your money proving that. A build comes first, and you will hear so before a scope is written rather than after the first report.
Do not buy it instead of authority. If what you want is demand that keeps arriving after the invoice stops, that is the digital authority foundation. The honest answer is often both at once. One buys the months while the other compounds.
And do not buy it expecting us to hold the money. The spend never passes through us. Where a proposal folds the advertising budget into the supplier's fee, the question worth asking is what the platform was actually charged.
Not sure which platform your buyers are actually on?
Bring what you spend now and where. The call names the one platform to start on and the ones to leave alone for now.

Facebook and Instagram are one service
The two platforms share an account structure, an audience system, a creative pipeline and a reporting surface, so one campaign is planned, bought and measured across both at once. We plan, deliver and report that work as Meta Ads, and that is where the full argument for the merge is made.
How a campaign is run and reported
A campaign runs in an order, and the order is not the one most people expect. The ads are the last part, not the first.
The account, not the ads
Setup where nothing exists, an audit where something does. Either way the account is opened or held in your name. This is where a campaign starts.
The structure the money moves through
Campaign and audience structure, keyword and placement strategy, and conversion tracking and attribution set up so results can be traced rather than assumed.
The work runs
Ad copy, creative, and ongoing optimisation against the number your written scope names.
Judged in writing, every month
Against that scope and against the baseline documented at the start, not against whatever a dashboard chose to celebrate.
What every report must contain is fixed by how paid performance is reported, and on this foundation that standard works hardest. Every ad platform reports on its own success, and someone has to be paid to disagree with it.
What decides the cost of a paid media engagement
Two costs, and only one of them is ours. The platforms charge you for the advertising, in your own account, at their price. Our fee buys the strategy, the build, the writing and the accountability. No figure for either half appears here, because nothing is priced before the audit and a number quoted before it would be a guess with a decimal point.
What moves our half. How many platforms the scope actually names, which is usually fewer than a buyer expects. Whether the ad accounts and the conversion tracking already exist or have to be built from nothing. How many products, audiences or locations need campaigns of their own. Whether usable creative exists or every ad starts from nothing. And how much of the first month is repair work on an account somebody else built.
What moves yours. The minimums a platform imposes on the ad products in your scope, how many platforms run at once, and how contested the auction is for the words or audiences you need. No cost-per-click figure for Ghana is published on any platform, so a supplier quoting one is quoting a guess; what your own account learns in its first weeks is the only reliable version.
What is in scope
The foundation's scope, in its own words.
In scope
- Account setup or audit
- Campaign and audience structure
- Keyword and placement strategy
- Conversion tracking and attribution setup
- Ad copywriting
- Basic static creative
- Ongoing optimisation
- The reporting standard
What is out of scope
One boundary here hands work sideways rather than back. Whatever an ad points at is a build, and builds are the first foundation's work, bought separately. You learn that here rather than in a proposal.
What stays in your own account
It starts with the advertising accounts themselves. They are opened or held in your name, the history in them is yours, and they stay with you if we stop working together. The same rule covers everything paid to a third party. Our fee buys strategy, execution and accountability, we configure and manage what you own, and why advertising spend sits outside our fee is explained in full.
- Your advertising spend
- Your advertising accounts, opened in your name
- Your domains and hosting
- Your tool subscriptions
- Influencer fees and licences
What we put in writing
We are new, and there are no logos here and no numbers from past engagements, because none has been documented with consent yet. What it carries instead are commitments specific enough that you would know at once if we broke one.
Who does the work
Two parties do this work, and the line between them is published here rather than discovered in a handover.
On paid media the founder keeps the decisions that spend money. Which platform, which audiences, what the budget is bought to move, and the words that run as ads. The delivery network does the operations underneath, the build and the trafficking and the routine optimisation passes, under his quality control. Nobody you have not been told about touches the account.

Questions we get asked before a campaign starts
The ones that come up before any money moves.
Do I pay you the advertising budget, or the platform?
The platform, directly, from an account in your own name. The spend never passes through us and is never marked up, which is why it sits in the out-of-scope list rather than inside a fee.
How much should I be spending?
Nothing is priced before the audit, and no honest figure exists before it either. Some platforms impose a minimum on some ad products, and where one applies to your scope the audit names it in writing.
Which platform should I start on?
Usually one, sometimes two, and which one is a diagnosis rather than a preference. It turns on whether your buyer is already searching for what you offer, or has to be found by interest, employer or habit.
Do I need a website before I run ads?
You need somewhere the click can land that takes an enquiry on a phone. If that does not exist, we will tell you to build it first rather than spend the budget proving it is missing.
How quickly will this work?
Ads can serve within days of an account being ready. Whether they were worth the money is answered by the first full reporting cycle, and we will not put a date on a result we do not control.
What happens when I stop paying?
The demand stops arriving, usually within days. That is the nature of bought time, and it is why the scope also names what should be taking over while the campaigns run.
What do you need from me before anything starts?
Admin access to any ad accounts and analytics you already have, the login for the site the ads point at, your current prices, and whoever answers the enquiries. Where an account does not exist yet, we open it in your name.
